Founded in 1868, this historic horse racetrack is the oldest and largest sports venue in the capital region, a true Berlin institution. After privatization in 2008, this venue has developed into the most dynamic racetrack in Germany in terms of spectators, betting turnover and sponsors. In 2013, the 207ha facility was officially declared a "monument of national importance" and is poised to become a leading venue for outdoor events in the capital region. In addition to a wide range of hospitality and sponsorship offers on a race day, the racetrack offers several event options on the beautiful listed site.
The racetrack is a perfect location for sports and entertainment runs as well as for vehicle and drone presentations, advertising, photo and film shoots, and parts of the film Timm Thaler as well as scenes for the Babylon Berlin series have already been shot here.
