De hofarchitect Reinhold Persius, zoon van de beroemde koninklijke architect Ludwig Persius, bouwde het in 1873/1874 als zomerresidentie voor de rijke Berlijnse houthandelaar Carl Francke in direct zicht op het paleis Sanssouci. Het pand is het enige duidelijke voorbeeld van monumentale villaarchitectuur in Potsdam naar het model van Dresden. Bijzonder indrukwekkend, en gebouwd in de Italiaanse renaissancestijl met een triomfboogmotief, is de villa's grote veranda, van waaruit een brede trap naar het park leidt. Met uitzondering van een reconstructie in 1911 door Peter Behrens, heeft de villa zijn buitenstructuur en plattegrond grotendeels behouden. De eetkamer, ooit rijkelijk versierd met schilderijen en stucwerk, is vandaag de dag nog steeds fantastisch, met een plafondhoogte van bijna 5 meter. Ingelegd parket, marmeren schouwen en zuilen, waardevolle deuren zijn slechts enkele van de historische stijlelementen die deze uitstekende villa sieren. De villa werd in 1992 gerestaureerd en is nu privébezit.
Er is een aparte loods tegenover de villa, die wordt gerestaureerd en ook kan worden gehuurd, als motief of voor productieruimtes met eigen bad/WC/elektriciteitsaansluitingen.

You can message several locations and manage every conversation from one inbox. Once you agree on dates and price, Plush74 handles the contract and payment, and you'll see the booking move through simple status steps. Browsing and chatting is free for clients.
Three steps: apply on our listing page and pay a one-time €74 onboarding fee, our team personally reviews your submission for quality, and once approved you get a dashboard to upload photos, set your price and go live. Clients then contact you directly through chat. Plush74 only takes a commission when a booking actually happens. No booking, no fee. There's no monthly subscription.
Each owner sets their own rental rate. Plush74 doesn't fix prices. Rates are usually shown and booked as a day rate, with a standard day counted as 10 hours and extra time billed as overtime. Prices are shown in the location's local currency (EUR or CHF) and are net, excluding VAT where applicable. Always confirm the exact rate and what's included in your quote.
To protect our locations' privacy, listings are shown under a working name and a general area (city and country) only, never the exact street address, until a booking is confirmed. This lets owners stay discoverable without exposing their address to everyone browsing. Once your request becomes a confirmed booking, the full address and details are shared in your booking confirmation and contract.

There are two main paths: a free client account for anyone looking to find and book a location (browse, save favourites, chat with owners, track requests), and a member account for location owners who want to list a space (upload photos, set pricing, receive chat requests, manage bookings). Companies or agencies managing several locations apply the same way. You choose your path when you sign up.
On any listing page, scroll to the request form below the photos and fill in your name, email, phone, project, budget, team size and dates, plus a short message about your shoot. Click Send Request. The more detail you give, the faster our team can confirm availability. All requests are screened before a chat opens with the location.
