Villa Balbiano, gelegen aan de westelijke oever van het Comomeer, is een ontzagwekkend Italiaans juweel, een uitzonderlijk historisch palazzo dat ooit toebehoorde aan de beroemde kardinaal Tolomeo Gallio, die het bouwde aan het einde van de 16e eeuw en het gebruikte als zijn hoofdverblijf. Tegenwoordig is Villa Balbiano het grootste privéverblijf aan het meer, met een oppervlakte van meer dan 2 hectare, een weelderige tuin die werd onderscheiden door de British Society of Garden Designers, een buitenzwembad, een privépier en een boothuis. Binnen zijn de historische interieurs gevuld met de mooiste kunstvoorwerpen en meubels uit de afgelopen eeuwen, afkomstig van Sotheby's en Christie's. Spectaculaire 17e-eeuwse fresco's geschilderd door de gebroeders Recchi en Agostino Silva sieren nog steeds de muren, onaangetast door de tijd. Met zijn roemruchte verleden en een ongeëvenaarde mix van door de mens gemaakte en natuurlijke schoonheid is Villa Balbiano een van de meest glamoureuze locaties aan het Comomeer.

Clients browse thousands of handpicked spaces, like villas, lofts, studios and event venues, search by description or reference image, chat directly with the location owner, and book through the platform. Location owners can list their space, receive booking requests, and manage everything through their own dashboard.
Search using filters, a text description, or a reference image. Save the ones you like, then send a chat request straight to the owner. You can message several locations and manage every conversation from one inbox. Once you agree on dates and price, Plush74 handles the contract and payment, and you'll see the booking move through simple status steps. Browsing and chatting is free for clients.
Three steps: apply on our listing page and pay a one-time €74 onboarding fee, our team personally reviews your submission for quality, and once approved you get a dashboard to upload photos, set your price and go live. Clients then contact you directly through chat. Plush74 only takes a commission when a booking actually happens. No booking, no fee. There's no monthly subscription.
Each owner sets their own rental rate. Plush74 doesn't fix prices. Rates are usually shown and booked as a day rate, with a standard day counted as 10 hours and extra time billed as overtime. Prices are shown in the location's local currency (EUR or CHF) and are net, excluding VAT where applicable. Always confirm the exact rate and what's included in your quote.
To protect our locations' privacy, listings are shown under a working name and a general area (city and country) only, never the exact street address, until a booking is confirmed. This lets owners stay discoverable without exposing their address to everyone browsing. Once your request becomes a confirmed booking, the full address and details are shared in your booking confirmation and contract.

There are two main paths: a free client account for anyone looking to find and book a location (browse, save favourites, chat with owners, track requests), and a member account for location owners who want to list a space (upload photos, set pricing, receive chat requests, manage bookings). Companies or agencies managing several locations apply the same way. You choose your path when you sign up.
On any listing page, scroll to the request form below the photos and fill in your name, email, phone, project, budget, team size and dates, plus a short message about your shoot. Click Send Request. The more detail you give, the faster our team can confirm availability. All requests are screened before a chat opens with the location.
