This unique showroom subtly composed by different tones calmly balances the classic and the contemporary redefining the idea of modern luxury.
From the entry, custom brass and glass transom doors lead into the living room: here, the elegantly curved Tacchini velvet sofa and two armchairs on a Nanimarquina rug gather around the organically shaped marble and stained wood coffee table to create a cosmopolitan ensemble of quiet opulence. Black sliding doors lead to the extraordinary island kitchen of flannel gray, wax-matte polished Eros Grey natural stone and dark lacquered mahogany. The "Cloud" light sphere object by Apparatus sets the stage for the dining area with its unusual triangle table. From the Living - next to the exit to the spacious loggia - there is a small, intimate room designed as a home office: Walls in warm-toned oxblood frame Pierre Chareau's classic desk and a custom daybed, joined by sculptural side tables by French artist-smith Stéphane Ducatteau.
Another sliding door leads to the private wing: In the luxurious dressing room with dressing table, ceiling-high, covered doors on both sides reveal clothing and accessories at the touch of a button.
The focal point of the master bedroom is a custom bed with American walnut headboard and raw silk in mauve. An imposing dresser of blackened steel, oxidized brass, walnut and leather handles celebrates the diversity of materials and craftsmanship; delicate draperies and the softly upholstered, casual Kelly Wearstler "Emmett" lounger give this retreat its air of deep tranquility. Arabescato marble envelops both bathrooms; in the master bath, a wall-flush light panel with programmable light levels illuminates the freestanding Devon&Devon tub, joined by objects from Villeroy & Boch and classic Dornbracht fixtures in matte Platinum.
Dark patinated, lacquered oak planks ground the sophisticated play with materials, textures and tones everywhere, complemented by details such as the switch program by Meljac.
