The ruins of this medieval castle (dated 1616/17) were enlarged with two modern living cubes in 2005 and have been inhabited again ever since. The castle has a 1.5 hectare romantic garden park with listed and nature-protected trees. Secluded location in a small hamlet near Böblingen/Sindelfingen with quick connections to Stuttgart. The two living cubes are fully glazed and there is a flexible kitchen on wheels in the 60 square meter living and dining area. A 40 square meter covered terrace floats 9 meters above the garden in a hundred-year-old chestnut tree and connects everyday life with nature almost all year round as a green living room. The ensemble has been awarded several architectural prizes.
