The MMM Corones, located on the summit plateau of Plan de Corones at 2,275 meters above sea level, is about traditional alpinism, which and which Reinhold Messner decisively shaped. Here alpine history is told and the unique view of the great walls of the Dolomites and Alps is included in the exhibition. On the edge of South Tyrol's greatest viewing platform, in the unmistakable museum building by Zaha Hadid, the view extends in all four directions beyond the national borders: from the Lienz Dolomites in the east to the Ortler in the west, from the Marmolada in the south to the Zillertalers in the north.
