Dit prachtige huis op een heuvel ligt op een klein schiereiland dat zich uitstrekt van Kythnos eiland in de Egeïsche Zee, met uitzicht op de Cycladische archipel. Het huis is geïnspireerd op traditionele Cycladische dorpen en bestaat uit witte kubussen die met elkaar verbonden zijn door getrapte witte steegjes. Als een kristalheldere sculptuur gehouwen uit één stuk witte steen staan de monolithische volumes in opvallend contrast met het droge landschap van gebrande bruintinten en gedempt groen.
Zowel binnen als buiten creëren de witte trappen op speelse wijze een cirkelvormige stroom door de verschillende niveaus van het huis. Geïnspireerd door het werk van M.C. Escher kan men zich boven, onder en door de ruimte bewegen in een bijna oneindige lus van treden. Het cluster van vier witte kubussen is genesteld in de heuvel op verschillende hoogtes en biedt meerdere panoramische uitzichten op de omliggende eilanden. De aanwezigheid van de Cycladische archipel en de steeds veranderende tinten van zee en lucht kunnen vanuit elke hoek van het huis worden ervaren. Van binnenuit is het kleine, onbewoonde eiland Piperi perfect te zien vanuit alle drie de bedden, het bad, de eettafel en de bank. De terrassen verbinden niet alleen de verschillende ruimtes, maar benadrukken ook het mediterrane landschap. Buiten zijn de daken van de witte kubussen toegankelijk als verhoogde plateaus boven het rotsachtige terrein.
Het uitzicht op zee van 200 graden gaat gepaard met kustwinden. De verschillende buitenruimtes die worden gevormd door de witte kubussen zijn echter in verschillende richtingen gericht, zodat er altijd een beschutte plek is, ongeacht de sterkte of oriëntatie van de wind. Twee trappen verbinden het huis met het water aan weerszijden van het schiereiland: een pad leidt naar kliffen en rotsen aan de oostkant, perfect om in zee te duiken, terwijl de andere afdaalt naar een klein zandstrand aan de zuidwestkant.
Het eigendom gaat verder over de kam van de heuvel, waar een klein gastenverblijf is ingebouwd in een gerestaureerde stenen schuur, compleet met buitenkeuken en pergola. Gedurende de dag kun je van zonsopgang in het hoofdgebouw op de oostelijke kliffen naar zonsondergang in de buitenkeuken met uitzicht op het strand in het zuidwesten.

Search using filters, a text description, or a reference image. Save the ones you like, then send a chat request straight to the owner. You can message several locations and manage every conversation from one inbox. Once you agree on dates and price, Plush74 handles the contract and payment, and you'll see the booking move through simple status steps. Browsing and chatting is free for clients.
Three steps: apply on our listing page and pay a one-time €74 onboarding fee, our team personally reviews your submission for quality, and once approved you get a dashboard to upload photos, set your price and go live. Clients then contact you directly through chat. Plush74 only takes a commission when a booking actually happens. No booking, no fee. There's no monthly subscription.
Each owner sets their own rental rate. Plush74 doesn't fix prices. Rates are usually shown and booked as a day rate, with a standard day counted as 10 hours and extra time billed as overtime. Prices are shown in the location's local currency (EUR or CHF) and are net, excluding VAT where applicable. Always confirm the exact rate and what's included in your quote.
To protect our locations' privacy, listings are shown under a working name and a general area (city and country) only, never the exact street address, until a booking is confirmed. This lets owners stay discoverable without exposing their address to everyone browsing. Once your request becomes a confirmed booking, the full address and details are shared in your booking confirmation and contract.

There are two main paths: a free client account for anyone looking to find and book a location (browse, save favourites, chat with owners, track requests), and a member account for location owners who want to list a space (upload photos, set pricing, receive chat requests, manage bookings). Companies or agencies managing several locations apply the same way. You choose your path when you sign up.
On any listing page, scroll to the request form below the photos and fill in your name, email, phone, project, budget, team size and dates, plus a short message about your shoot. Click Send Request. The more detail you give, the faster our team can confirm availability. All requests are screened before a chat opens with the location.
