Château de Villette ligt op 40 minuten van het centrum van Parijs en is een van de meest opmerkelijke kastelen in Frankrijk. Het is sinds 1942 door de Franse overheid geclassificeerd als historisch monument. Château de Villette ligt in een bospark van 75 hectare, met twee meren, een prachtige watervalfontein, een glazen huis en een oranjerie, om nog maar te zwijgen van de ongelooflijk weelderige interieurs. Château de Villette belichaamt elegantie, luxe en de beroemde Franse uitdrukking "art de vivre". Het werd oorspronkelijk ontworpen door architect François Mansart voor de graaf van Aufflay en later voltooid door zijn achterneef, Jules Hardouin-Mansart, hoofdarchitect van Lodewijk XV, die tegelijkertijd ook toezag op de bouw van Château de Versailles. Op dezelfde manier werd de prachtige tuin van Château de Villette ontworpen door André Le Nôtre, die ook de beroemde tuinen van Château de Versailles creëerde. Daarom heeft het de naam Le Petit Versailles (het kleine Versailles) gekregen.
Historisch gezien wordt de 18e beschouwd als de hoogtijdagen van Château de Villette. De toenmalige eigenaars van Château de Villette, Sophie de Grouchy, een prominente salongastvrouw, en haar echtgenoot, Markies de Condorcet, nodigden vooraanstaande intellectuelen als Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin en Thomas Paine uit op Château de Villette. In de moderne tijd is Château de Villette het toevluchtsoord geweest voor vele beroemdheden zoals John Travolta, Tom Cruise en Lenny Kravitz. Het is een inspiratiebron geweest voor Dan Brown, die de "Da Vinci Code" schreef terwijl hij in het kasteel verbleef en later werd gebruikt als opnamelocatie voor de verfilming.

Three steps: apply on our listing page and pay a one-time €74 onboarding fee, our team personally reviews your submission for quality, and once approved you get a dashboard to upload photos, set your price and go live. Clients then contact you directly through chat. Plush74 only takes a commission when a booking actually happens. No booking, no fee. There's no monthly subscription.
Each owner sets their own rental rate. Plush74 doesn't fix prices. Rates are usually shown and booked as a day rate, with a standard day counted as 10 hours and extra time billed as overtime. Prices are shown in the location's local currency (EUR or CHF) and are net, excluding VAT where applicable. Always confirm the exact rate and what's included in your quote.
To protect our locations' privacy, listings are shown under a working name and a general area (city and country) only, never the exact street address, until a booking is confirmed. This lets owners stay discoverable without exposing their address to everyone browsing. Once your request becomes a confirmed booking, the full address and details are shared in your booking confirmation and contract.

There are two main paths: a free client account for anyone looking to find and book a location (browse, save favourites, chat with owners, track requests), and a member account for location owners who want to list a space (upload photos, set pricing, receive chat requests, manage bookings). Companies or agencies managing several locations apply the same way. You choose your path when you sign up.
On any listing page, scroll to the request form below the photos and fill in your name, email, phone, project, budget, team size and dates, plus a short message about your shoot. Click Send Request. The more detail you give, the faster our team can confirm availability. All requests are screened before a chat opens with the location.
