Dit betoverende landhuis uit de tweede helft van de 17e eeuw wordt beschouwd als een van de meest emblematische architectonische gebouwen van het zuiden van Portugal en werd in 2007 geclassificeerd als nationaal monument. Dit majestueuze huis is nu een geliefd familieproject en is geïntegreerd in de middeleeuwse muur die het historische centrum van het dorp Serpa omringt.
Als 17e-eeuws gebouw vertegenwoordigt het een belangrijk voorbeeld van "architectura chã" (in het Engels, eenvoudige architectuur); een Portugese bouwstijl die afkomstig is van het Italiaanse maneirismo. Architectura chã wordt gekenmerkt door een sobere vorm en de aanwezigheid van lokale tradities.
De tuin bestaat uit een bos en een boomgaard omringd door buxus en verspreide cipressen. De boomgaard is een prachtige sinaasappelgaard. Het water dat deze tuin irrigeert komt van een waterrad op de muur van Serpa en komt de tuin binnen via een aquaduct dat is aangelegd met als enige doel het paleis van water te voorzien.

You can message several locations and manage every conversation from one inbox. Once you agree on dates and price, Plush74 handles the contract and payment, and you'll see the booking move through simple status steps. Browsing and chatting is free for clients.
Three steps: apply on our listing page and pay a one-time €74 onboarding fee, our team personally reviews your submission for quality, and once approved you get a dashboard to upload photos, set your price and go live. Clients then contact you directly through chat. Plush74 only takes a commission when a booking actually happens. No booking, no fee. There's no monthly subscription.
Each owner sets their own rental rate. Plush74 doesn't fix prices. Rates are usually shown and booked as a day rate, with a standard day counted as 10 hours and extra time billed as overtime. Prices are shown in the location's local currency (EUR or CHF) and are net, excluding VAT where applicable. Always confirm the exact rate and what's included in your quote.
To protect our locations' privacy, listings are shown under a working name and a general area (city and country) only, never the exact street address, until a booking is confirmed. This lets owners stay discoverable without exposing their address to everyone browsing. Once your request becomes a confirmed booking, the full address and details are shared in your booking confirmation and contract.

There are two main paths: a free client account for anyone looking to find and book a location (browse, save favourites, chat with owners, track requests), and a member account for location owners who want to list a space (upload photos, set pricing, receive chat requests, manage bookings). Companies or agencies managing several locations apply the same way. You choose your path when you sign up.
On any listing page, scroll to the request form below the photos and fill in your name, email, phone, project, budget, team size and dates, plus a short message about your shoot. Click Send Request. The more detail you give, the faster our team can confirm availability. All requests are screened before a chat opens with the location.
