The Skate park, part of The Mérida Young Factory complex in Spain, was designed by the architecture studio Selgas Cano.
The structure above the Skatepark is made up of a set of inverted cones on which the roof rests. The material used is polycarbonate, which is transparent, letting in natural light that allows us to glimpse all the movement that occurs inside from the outside. The shape simulates "a large swollen wave", as described by Selgas, the architect of the project.
