About

  • This modern apartment is spaciously designed and stylishly decorated.
The loft is located on the sunny side of Görlitzer Park. Since it is on the top floor it gives you a spectacular view over the city.
I have renovated the loft with the help of an architect I know since early school days. We wanted to create an open, minimalistic space with a modern design that gives you a warm and cozy feeling at the same time. Thats why me mixed materials like the handmade concrete countertop in the kitchen and the wooden shelfs, made out of over 100 year old wooden beams, which we preserved from the old roof construction. We alThis stylishly designed modern apartment offers a spacious and inviting atmosphere. Located on the sunny side of Görlitzer Park, the loft enjoys abundant natural light and, being on the top floor, provides spectacular panoramic views of the city.

The loft has been thoughtfully renovated in collaboration with an architect I have known since my early school days. Our goal was to create an open, minimalist space that balances modern aesthetics with warmth and comfort. To achieve this, we combined contrasting materials—such as a handmade concrete countertop in the kitchen and wooden shelves crafted from over 100-year-old beams salvaged from the original roof structure. The dining table was also custom-made from the same reclaimed wood, adding a touch of history to the contemporary setting.

Emphasizing the loft’s exceptional natural light, we opted to replace a traditional wall between the bedroom and dining area with a three-part sliding door. When fully opened, this feature seamlessly connects the north- and south-facing windows, enhancing the sense of spaciousness and creating a bright, airy ambiance throughout the apartment.so handmade the dining table out of the same wood.
Further we wanted to feature the extraordinary amount of light in this space by sparing a wall between bedroom and dining area. Instead the bedroom is separated by a three-part slide door, which can be opened all the way, which gives you a great feeling of spaciousness, since it connects windows from both sides, north and south.
