Maison Haas Hustinx is located on Maastricht’s beautiful Vrijthof Square with great views of the historical basilica and churches. The hotel is housed in two monumental buildings constructed in 1920, and offers 17 unique rooms and suites that depict the eclectic styles of the 1920s. The hotel’s founder combined the historic features of the buildings with modern and forward-thinking design, creating a very luxurious ambiance. The available in-house spa and Levantine eatery, make Maison Haas Hustinx a place where luxury and comfort meet. At Maison Haas Hustinx, no two rooms are exactly alike. Every space is restored with great respect to the unique characteristics of the historical site. The hotel consists of 17 rooms, suites and apartments. All individually furnished in collaboration with designer brand Normann Copenhagen, local artists and craftsmen. Tailored finishing is found in every detail; from handblown glass pieces to in-house designed and custom-built furniture.
SANCTVM
Spa Built in 2020; housed in the hotel’s modern annex is the spa of Maison Haas Hustinx. A quiet sanctuary hiding on the Vrijthof. It includes a pool, Finnish sauna, marble hammam, and “ confession booth” for both meditation or prayer. It is a place to practice one’s own ways to spiritual wellness. The quiet and relaxing atmosphere of our spa creates an oasis of holistic well-being. A place to completely wind down, relax and return to yourself.
SAFAR
This Levantine eatery completes the final stage of Maison Haas Hustinx. Paying tribute to the journeys of Alphons Hustinx, Safar comes from the Arabic word travel. This project is a culmination of the personal expressions of those creating dishes, serving them, and the minds bringing it all together; to deliver the culture of hospitality and community that is characteristic of the Levant, especially around the dining table. The restaurant celebrates the mixed heritage that has long shaped the eastern Mediterranean: Roman, French, Ottoman, among others - and nestles it into the city of Maastricht, a city with an attitude of curiosity towards new experiences.
