The location is set in the heart of Umbria, in Pila, a hamlet in the immediate vicinity of Perugia.
The current appearance of the villa is due to architect Tarchi's project, who was inspired by seventeenth and eighteenth century Roman and Tuscan models, using them and completely reinventing them.
The exposed stone tower, which was joined to the pre-existing building, is surmounted by a beautiful view from which one discovers a suggestive, at times magical, panorama which shows the surrounding plain in all its beauty, the hills up to Assisi, Perugia and Lake Trasimeno.
