AMERICAN STYLE BUNGALOWS
Away from the hustle and bustle, South of Berlin, a horseshoe-shaped road hugs the edges of the park Dreipfuhlsiedlung and the Dreiphul lake of 6000 m2.
In 1956-57 thirty comfortable single-storey buildings - American bungalow style were built for officers of the American armed forces after the settlement of the Cold War, spatially separated and hierarchically differentiated. After their withdrawal, a large part of the houses became privately owned. Nevertheless, the uniform appearance has been preserved to this day.
The bungalows built around the park are flat-covered, ground-level type buildings with typical wide driveways and open front gardens designed according to the American model and by the Berlin architect Willy Ehrlichmann.
Available now for film productions and photoshoots, ideal for those looking for the American mood without having to go too far.
Also perfect for nature or lake motifs.
