Mit einer der wohl schönsten Aussichten der Welt und einer selten gesehenen Pracht, sowohl innen als auch außen, wurde die Villa Astor zu Recht als "Paradies" bezeichnet. Mit einer langen Geschichte, die sich bis ins 1. Jahrhundert n. Chr. zurückverfolgen lässt, als Agrippa Postumus, der Enkel von Kaiser Augustus, sie zum ersten Mal zu seiner Residenz machte, war die Villa Astor lange Zeit ein Zuhause und ein Ziel für die Reichen und Edlen.
1905 kaufte Lord William Waldorf Astor, einer der reichsten Männer seiner Zeit, die Villa und machte sie zu seinem Lieblingsprojekt, indem er das Gelände vergrößerte und auf der Rückseite des Hauses, wo einst ein Dominikanerkloster stand, einen prächtigen Garten anlegte. Seine letzte Erweiterung des Anwesens war die "pompejanische" Villa, die er mit ionischen Säulen und neoklassizistischen Fresken eines römischen Künstlers, Mario Spinetti, verzierte. Nach seinem Tod geriet die Villa in Vergessenheit, obwohl sie selbst in dieser Zeit noch bedeutende Persönlichkeiten anzog, wie z. B. Benedetto Croce, den verehrten italienischen Philosophen und Politiker, der während des Zweiten Weltkriegs dort lebte. In den 1970er Jahren wurde die Villa Astor von einer wohlhabenden Familie, Mariano Pane und seiner Frau, erworben, die viele illustre Gäste empfing, darunter Prinzessin Margaret, Rudolf Nuriev, Gregory Peck, Sofia Loren, Franco Zeffirelli und Gianni Agnelli. Heute setzt die Villa Astor den Maßstab für Luxusunterkünfte an der Amalfiküste und wurde von vielen Luxus-Lifestyle- und Reisepublikationen wie Town & Country, Quintessence, Forbes, Bloomberg und The Telegraph als Traumferienhaus bezeichnet.

Search using filters, a text description, or a reference image. Save the ones you like, then send a chat request straight to the owner. You can message several locations and manage every conversation from one inbox. Once you agree on dates and price, Plush74 handles the contract and payment, and you'll see the booking move through simple status steps. Browsing and chatting is free for clients.
Three steps: apply on our listing page and pay a one-time €74 onboarding fee, our team personally reviews your submission for quality, and once approved you get a dashboard to upload photos, set your price and go live. Clients then contact you directly through chat. Plush74 only takes a commission when a booking actually happens. No booking, no fee. There's no monthly subscription.
Each owner sets their own rental rate. Plush74 doesn't fix prices. Rates are usually shown and booked as a day rate, with a standard day counted as 10 hours and extra time billed as overtime. Prices are shown in the location's local currency (EUR or CHF) and are net, excluding VAT where applicable. Always confirm the exact rate and what's included in your quote.
To protect our locations' privacy, listings are shown under a working name and a general area (city and country) only, never the exact street address, until a booking is confirmed. This lets owners stay discoverable without exposing their address to everyone browsing. Once your request becomes a confirmed booking, the full address and details are shared in your booking confirmation and contract.

There are two main paths: a free client account for anyone looking to find and book a location (browse, save favourites, chat with owners, track requests), and a member account for location owners who want to list a space (upload photos, set pricing, receive chat requests, manage bookings). Companies or agencies managing several locations apply the same way. You choose your path when you sign up.
On any listing page, scroll to the request form below the photos and fill in your name, email, phone, project, budget, team size and dates, plus a short message about your shoot. Click Send Request. The more detail you give, the faster our team can confirm availability. All requests are screened before a chat opens with the location.
