Der ursprüngliche Teil des Hauses wurde 1910 erbaut und weist noch viele historische Merkmale auf, darunter eine einst geweihte Kapelle mit Gewölbedecke. Das Herrenhaus wurde 2006 modernisiert und erweitert, wobei die Quadratmeterzahl verdoppelt, eine große offene Küche und zusätzliche Schlafzimmer hinzugefügt und der Außenpool und der Tennisplatz renoviert wurden. Das Herrenhaus ist von einem großen Park und hohen, alten Bäumen umgeben, die den Blick auf das Ackerland freigeben. Es verfügt auch über eine eigene ursprüngliche Parterre und einen Pavillon, mehrere Teiche und einen bewaldeten Weg. Tennisplätze und ein kleiner Pool verleihen dem Anwesen einen modernen Touch.
Das Herrenhaus befand sich einst im Besitz des Bischofs von London und verfügt über raumhohe gotische Fenster sowie originale gotische Bögen auf dem Gelände. In den 1960er Jahren diente es als Drehort für Gerry Andersons Science-Fiction-Serie "The Secret Service", wobei das Äußere in mehreren Episoden als Pfarrhaus von Pater Stanley Unwin verwendet wurde. In den 1970er Jahren wurde das Haus "Fox Den" (Fuchsbau) genannt, wahrscheinlich wegen der zahlreichen Füchse auf dem Gelände. Das Herrenhaus bewahrt noch immer viele Erinnerungsstücke an Füchse, nämlich eine Fuchs-Wetterfahne, Fuchsmotive in einigen der Glasfenster und zahlreiche Fuchsornamente, die von früheren Besitzern hinterlassen wurden.

You can message several locations and manage every conversation from one inbox. Once you agree on dates and price, Plush74 handles the contract and payment, and you'll see the booking move through simple status steps. Browsing and chatting is free for clients.
Three steps: apply on our listing page and pay a one-time €74 onboarding fee, our team personally reviews your submission for quality, and once approved you get a dashboard to upload photos, set your price and go live. Clients then contact you directly through chat. Plush74 only takes a commission when a booking actually happens. No booking, no fee. There's no monthly subscription.
Each owner sets their own rental rate. Plush74 doesn't fix prices. Rates are usually shown and booked as a day rate, with a standard day counted as 10 hours and extra time billed as overtime. Prices are shown in the location's local currency (EUR or CHF) and are net, excluding VAT where applicable. Always confirm the exact rate and what's included in your quote.
To protect our locations' privacy, listings are shown under a working name and a general area (city and country) only, never the exact street address, until a booking is confirmed. This lets owners stay discoverable without exposing their address to everyone browsing. Once your request becomes a confirmed booking, the full address and details are shared in your booking confirmation and contract.

There are two main paths: a free client account for anyone looking to find and book a location (browse, save favourites, chat with owners, track requests), and a member account for location owners who want to list a space (upload photos, set pricing, receive chat requests, manage bookings). Companies or agencies managing several locations apply the same way. You choose your path when you sign up.
On any listing page, scroll to the request form below the photos and fill in your name, email, phone, project, budget, team size and dates, plus a short message about your shoot. Click Send Request. The more detail you give, the faster our team can confirm availability. All requests are screened before a chat opens with the location.
